my studio sessions take place in Wallington, Fareham.
I can also do all milestone and cake smash
sessions on location, too!

my studio is warm and homely, making it very easy for babies
and children to feel more settled during the photo shoot.

my priority is their comfort and safety.

Cake Smash & Splash
Cake Smash sessions are a brilliant and fun way
to mark their 1st birthday!

with great sensory play for baby
and lots of fun and giggles
along with some great photos to cherish!

my cake smash sessions include a mini portrait session
before the cake comes out and even a mini bubble bath session
at the end to capture some more cute shots!
(and clean up that cake!)

my cake smashes can be customized to all sorts of themes
we simply chat and swap ideas and get the planning underway!

I recommend getting a couple of months ahead
booking for their cake smash,
especially if you are looking for a bespoke theme.
this gives me time to source what I need!

Frequently asked Q's
What can I expect at my cake smash/milestone session?
your session will take place in my home studio setting, the studio will be warm and ready for you and babies arrival, averaging around 22 degrees c so baby remains a comfortable temperature for their session. this can get very warm for us so consider layering so you can strip a layer if needed for comfort!

there will be drinks, both hot and cold and biscuits available, too.
but if you want to bring your own food and drink, that's absolutely fine.
theres a big Sainsburies and Costa coffee a short walk from me, too!
​
upon arrival I usually recommend we see how baby is doing for a feed/change before we move on to starting the photographs. a clean and full baby is a happy baby!
​
tips and tricks to help the session run smoothly
introduce baby to messy play if you haven't already.
this will help with the sensory and them being interested in playing with the cake!
bring some of their favourite snacks - we can hide them in the cake
to perk an interest! bring a drink for them.
​
Do we need to bring anything?
My studio is full of props, outfits wraps and more so you'll only need to bring baby
and essentials like nappies, wipes etc. of course if you have anything sentimental you would like to include in the photographs, please feel free to bring them along.

all packages/digitals include full print release -
so you have rights to printing of your images. in store or online, should you choose.
​
After the session ends, your images will be individually checked, edited and perfected -
any deemed unusable will be culled during this process, and all edited images in your viewing gallery
will be only the best from the session. this process takes around 7-14 days, but can vary depending on season.
i will keep you updated on their process if there is any delay.

ONCE YOU'VE VIEWED YOUR ONLINE GALLERY - YOU THEN INFORM ME OF YOUR SELECTED PACKAGE/PRODUCTS
